Network Analyst - Video Conferencing
Client:
Siemens Network Services Ltd (Ford Motor Company, Essex)
Objective: to increase the video conferencing success rate from
82% to a target of 95% by:
Installation and configuration of new video conferencing equipment
for evaluation and performance testing via both IP (VOIP, H323)
and ISDN prior to global release.
Managing and supporting a corporate global, voice, data and video
network, coordinating the efforts of the representatives of managed
services.
Process development for global fault reporting procedures (Help
Desk/ Remedy).
Maximising availability and quality of ISDN Primary Rate Interface
(PRI) Basic Rate Interface (BRI), switched networks for video.
Expert use of dedicated analysis equipment to verify conformance.
Full understanding of ISDN implementation on PABX, cell switch technologies
(ATM), signalling (Q931), in-depth knowledge of protocols (H.320
H.221 etc.
With monthly statistics at ³
